Welcome to PKA Photography, where every click narrates a unique love story! As a dynamic husband-wife duo, our journey began when our own wedding visuals left us unsatisfied in 2022. Instead of dwelling on discontent, we took charge, giving birth to PKA Photography in June 2022.
In this short span, we've joyfully captured over 300 weddings and events, spanning from intimate elopements to heartwarming civil ceremonies. Each event embodies a unique tale, a celebration of love, and an opportunity to freeze magical moments in time.
After a year and a half of dedicated development, PKA Photography has broadened its scope with a fantastic team of 10 talented individuals, reflecting diverse cultural backgrounds including American, Asian, Mexican, Persian, and European. Most of us are highly skilled hybrid shooters, proficient in both photo and video, ensuring the delivery of the finest visual representation of your unique story.

Hi, I am Mia,
My journey into the world of art began at the tender age of 5, as I delved into the realm of painting, nurturing a deep love for artistic expression. Subsequently, I pursued Commercial Advertising and Design as my 2nd degree in University, further honing my skills and understanding of the visual language.
While balancing the demands of school, I ventured into the world of part-time modeling at the age of 18. This experience became a pivotal chapter, offering me the opportunity to collaborate with professional photographers. Here, I refined my posing techniques, developed a keen eye for layout, and delved into the technical intricacies of photography, such as finding the best angles for lighting.
From 2002 onwards, my cameras and I have traversed the globe, capturing the rich tapestry of life in every corner.
My joy lies in capturing the authentic moments of life. I love exploring alongside my clients, seizing the essence of the day through my lens. Witnessing the delight of clients when the final work exceeds their expectations is my ultimate reward. I'm dedicated to crafting a visual narrative that is honest, artistic, and uniquely yours.
I create photographs with the intent of offering the kind of memories I would cherish for myself and my loved ones. As a mother, partner, daughter, and friend, I deeply understand the significance of preserving these beautiful bonds.

Hey, I am LaRon,
With a storied background in photography and visual media, my journey began at the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography, where I earned my undergraduate degree specializing in commercials and music videos.
After college, I honed my craft by capturing stunning photos and videos of my travels and my life in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area.
Now based in sunny San Diego, I’m deeply immersed in the world of photography and visual storytelling, exploring various platforms to bring unique visions to life. In addition to being a skilled photographer and videographer, I am also an experienced drone pilot, adept in the latest techniques of photo editing and post-production for both video and film.
My Passion:
While videography is my expertise, my greatest joy comes from being a wedding officiant. This passion began when a close friend asked me to officiate their wedding a few years ago, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of officiating hundreds of weddings. I craft personalized vows based on each couple’s love story, ensuring that their ceremony is as meaningful and unique as their journey together.

Hi, I am Nafas,
A professional wedding photographer with a passion for capturing life’s most beautiful moments.
I was born and raised in Iran in an artist family, where creativity was part of everyday life. My photography journey began at just 15 years old in my brother’s studio, and since then, I’ve explored many photography styles, including weddings, portraits, modeling, babies, families, and lifestyle photography. Over the years, I’ve also developed advanced skills in photo editing, especially using Photoshop, ensuring each image tells a story.
I studied at an art college and earned a bachelor’s degree in applied science from the University of Tehran. My career has included working with top studios and even gaining experience as a wedding planner—giving me a unique understanding of how to capture every special detail.
Since moving to America with my husband, I’ve been dedicated to enhancing my English skills to better connect with clients and provide exceptional service. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and refine my craft, striving to deliver photos that leave lasting impressions.
